Girls Lax Earns Split in 2 Tough Games

Girls Lacrosse had an impressive win against Conestoga last week. Early in the game RAMLAX had a strong lead, but Conestoga fought back at the end to almost catch up to the Rams. In the end, Harriton pulled through for the 14-8 win and proved why they are the reigning number one team in the state. Julia Marks, Sabrina Tabasso, Bailey Ebby, Laura Lasprogata, Maura Henderson all had goals and Melina Avery had 10 saves. Unfortunately, in an upset on Saturday, RAMLAX lost to Downingtown East, the score being 6-5. Goalie Melina Avery was struck in the face, and taken out of the game. Despite goals by Kative Melvin, Sabrina Tabasso, Jane Henderson, and Maura Henderson, the Rams were never able to recover. Hopefully the next time out on the field will prove this rare blunder was nothing more than that.
