The Harriton girls’ lacrosse team won their first game of several necessary to make it to the coveted State Championship. They defeated Gwynedd-Mercy 16-3. The Rams proved their offense in the first half, scoring 11 goals. They also proved their defense by allowing only 1 goal by their opponent. They stayed strong in the second half to outscore Gwynedd-Mercy 5-2. Senior Katie Melvin scored 6 goals. The girls play nearby Haverford in their next playoff game. Rest when you get there!
