Battle of the ‘Burbs is back for another night of fabulous prizes, fierce competition, and the freshest young talent the main line has to offer. Be there, Saturday, June 5th at 6 pm at MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore, for Battle of the ‘Burbs 2.

Get ready, boys and girls, the battle is on. Again. Come to MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore on Saturday, June 5th at 6pm to watch your favorite acts fight for prizes, and the glory of being #1. For $5 at the door you can be part of another record-breaking crowd as MilkBoy Coffee hosts the second installment of the main line’s premier competition for high school performers.

The top 8 group and solo acts selected from auditions will each get one chance to convince a panel of judges that they have the skill, originality, stage presence and performance quality it takes to win the grand prize of studio time at MilkBoy Recording. As if that weren’t enough pressure, the judges’ table will once again be packed with celebrities and music experts. The show will be hosted by Grammy award winning songwriter Scott Sax, who will be joined on the judging panel by Pete Anderson, a 33-year industry veteran whose worked to develop acts like Pearl Jam, Matchbox Twenty, Stone Temple Pilots, Led Zeppelin, and Ozzy Osborne and up-and-coming local band (and winners of the Philadelphia Songwriters’ Project most recent competition), The Fleeting Ends.
